I liked Blood of Kerensky and other Stackpole novels when I first read them in middle school, but going back and rereading them, I found the characters dull and the dialogue pretty dry as well. That's how I felt when Morgan Kell's flashpoint awarded me an urban mech, panther part, melee arm mod and Griffin part. I love both stories' portrayal of Nicholas Kerensky. NEVER BET AGAINST THE KELL BROTHERS The Kell Hounds are one of the most storied mercenary units in the Inner Sphere. It follows Andery Kerensky during the exodus and the pentagon civil wars. I also recommend Fall from Glory by Randill Bills, another Battlecorps novel. BATTLETECHs first-ever expansion adds new gameplay, depth, and over 30 hours of new content to your mercenary experience. I enjoyed it more than I enjoyed almost every printed battletech novel I've read. And to echo what some have said, I highly recommend Betrayal of Ideals.
